Samuel Dupan Dapapa, though he was born in Kalinga, is a proud Abrenian. He is a retired teacher who has already received two national awards, the Presidential Award and the Datu Sibug Award, both in recognition for his outstanding service rendered to the indigenous people.

In this first series of Conversations, Samuel or Sami as he is fondly called, talks about one of his soon-to-be-published books and reminds us the importance of knowing and learning from our past.

A book published in 1922 by Fay-Cooper Cole, is a must-read for all Abrenians.
